Microsoft Web Components Vulnerability

Microsoft has issued a warning about a serious vulnerability in Microsoft Office Web Components software. The vulnerability applies mainly to Office XP and Office 2003 Web Components.

An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to gain access to a computer with the same rights as the local user. This may not require any user intervention to exploit the vulnerability.
